Rev Counter Not Working Correctly??

Rev Counter Not Working Correctly??
Gents,
I took out the clocks on my 3 door to change the bulbs. When I put it all back the rev counter now rests well below 0 RPM! The rev counter now works, but reads approx 1000 RPM lower than it should.
Does anyone know how to sort this problem?
