Puma/Fiesta conversion wiring ??
Hello folks,
I think this should be straight foreword but I'm making a meal of it as usual ! I've bought a complete running Puma same year , same digital loom as my Mk4 Fiesta. So far so good right , whilst everything is looking very similar the Puma has the MAF sensor wiring running down the N/S inner wing but my Fiesta has' nt got a MAF sensor or at least I can't see one and I can't separate MAF wiring from the loom . I don't have remove the Intire loom and fuse box do I ?? If anyone has done it I'd appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction please?
cheers

Shit ! That's the last thing I wanted to hear !
I might just re read the guide you sent me to be sure . My car has'nt got ABS so I might get away with the rear of the loom. How are you getting on with yours ??

Ive just had another thought , surely you must be to connect directly into the Ecu multi plug . It's only 3 pins ????
on another point , my zetec turbo has'nt got MAF sensor . Do I even need one ?

The ecu multi plug has about 100 pins! That is part of the engine loom so will also need to be swapped over.
It really isn't that bad to swap over the entire loom, once I had the engine out i was able to remove the wiring loom easily within an hour. Didn't take much longer to get back in.
If you want it done properly and running correctly you need to swap over the entire loom.
Got mine MOT'd start of June then drove it over to Germany and did the nurburgring end of june, had a few minor teething issues to start with but now it's 100%
