Hi guys. Am having a bit of trouble with my Ka.

Common fault on these is the thottle Potention (?) Sensor which makes the engine rev on its own for ages and is very annoying. Had the sensor changed on Friday.

But..... and there is always a but. Everytime i take the car out these days it feels slower than usual. Ive had the throttle tested, emissions are fine so mixture must be ok but it still lags. Its noticeably slower in all gears but 4th doesn't pick up at all.

Have you any thoughts on what could be wrong? im obviously losing some power on the propulsion side of things but i dont know where to start. Its booked into my garage for friday for a looksee but anything you guys can suggest would be a good place to start as any

u mean the throttle postion sensor as a new car u need to get it on a diagnostic machine this will reveal the fault 4 u and save u messin round!! could be anything from a pain in the ass ecu fault or sumfing simple such as the air mass sensor which is quite a common fault, hop that helps
