ive just put a new engine in my car and i unplugged all the connectors underneath the inlet manifold. the car is an RS Turbo engined fiesta. the trouble is i can't remember where to plug them back in. there are blue, brown and 2 black ford type 2-pin square plastic connectors with the spring clip lock. one goes to the cold start injector, one to the engine temp sensor one to the vacuum sensor thingy and another that i dont think was connected. can anyone tell me which colour goes to what?
i've got a track day saturday and the engine is running like sh*t. its fine just revving it but under load it is really hesitant. any suggestions would be welcome. it ran fine before i put the engine back in

 

Is it a ERST or FRST engine as you've just described a mix of these two? In a ERST, it's just color to color.

 

As JesseT, said go under the car and plug them in that way you can see the colour plugs then m8 and as far as the misfire have you checked the timming again or the plugs
