Hi is anyone here running a Mk4 Escort Zetec with a Weber DGV or DGAS?

If so, did you manage to get an air filter under the bonnet?

....also i just took it out, ran fine except when put foot down & it just died...fuel starvation feathered throttle & limped home

Thought the carb was fine...just checking, have I got these fuel connections round the right way? Any help much appreciated thanks

 

Dont recall the connections being out the same side but the angled connection is usualy the inlet and straight the return.
so according to your diagram the pipes should be orther way round

You're right - just swapped them & took it out for a run, everything fine! Can't believe it...
