Default Any help/advice appreciated.....Oil

Hi guys, about 3 years ago I had a straight cut gearbox fitted to my car (escort cosworth) I was told at the time the gearbox oil would need changing after so many miles. I only really use the car in the summer and over the last few years it’s not been used very often at all because of working and saving for a house! So I’ve finally got to where I need to be money wise and are now looking forward to having more car time. So one of the jobs at the top of my list is change the gearbox oil! Question is what oil should I be looking to use??
Cheers,Dave.

I can’t advise myself but message oilman on here or ask on Opie Oils web site mate you will get the correct advice from both as the oil man works for Opie Oils.

Assuming it is still 4x4 I believe you need auto trans fluid in the transfer box and gearbox oil in the actual gearbox (there are 2 fill plugs)

I think he may have told me different on my oppliger box but will check with him when I refil mine as it is with him at the moment as he swapped a bent selector fork for me.
