High power application with MTX75 - Clutch
Hi all,
I have a Noble M12GTO3 that uses the MTX75 gearbox
I am looking for a clutch/flywheel/pressure plate application that is suitable for comfortable running at 500bhp/400lbFt of torque.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
Phil

MTX75? Front wheel drive application right?
I used a Sachs uprated clutch in my old Focus RS which was 430hp...handled the power with no issues and was a damn sight better than my 6 paddle AP Racing clutch I had in there previously!

Hi all
Many thanks indeed for the reply - yes it is the RWD transverse application of the MTX75. The TTV Racing Flywheel, with the Helix Clutch and pressure plate looks to be the best option to support my intended output - whilst should retain fairly civilised engagement characteristics.

from what i understand the mtx75 is the same as the mt75 box, just turned sideways so you could go along the route of the cosworth clutch kit depending on the original stuff that's fitted
they used a bigger clutch than the normal set up, 241mm as opposed to the 220mm versions but they still used the same size bellhousings
unless they've changed them on the mondeo application, in which case the st version would do the trick

THanks for the advice on the Cosworth kit. Ill take a look.
The clutch as standard is an AP Racing item and it may or may not use a slightly lightened flywheel, but I can confirm the Fidanza lightweight flywheel P/N is 186251
