i had to start our mk1 with the pasenger seat out , its obviously put the warning light on, the seat is back in the car

had a quick look on forscan and dont seem to be able to reset it

whats the procedure please?

 

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins?

 

Also did you do the nut up on the plug tight enough?

If not, I've been fiddling with forscan and my seat airbag lights, and re-setting has been quite easy. Juts click on the DTC button, select the code that needs re-setting, and click on the re-set button.

Problem with mine is that although I can re-set the codes, they just come back 'cause I haven't managed to find a solution for not having the bags
