Default RWD conversion to mk4 escort

just after as much info as poss as to what you did to convert yr mk4 escort to RWD or 4x4. including parts used and y u used those, any info on new mounts ect...

looking to convert my escort to rwd zetec turbo for the end of summer... hoping to start work may time

Christ you'll be hard pushed to get it ready for summer. Thats a faily big conversion. Which box/running gear would you be wanting to use?

unsure... originally a pinto ans sierra drivetrain and rear axle... but some suggested mk2 rear axle... so i wanna know what others have done? im going to look at a complete mk2 this weekend but unsure weather itll be rough enough to break for parts or weather to do that up instead... i need more info to sway me back to the rwd mk4...

If you want the life scared out of you then there is a guy in the resto section he is doing this conversion at the mo.

Take a look in there, he has used a sierra floorpan and is bolting his mk4 shell to it
