I've noticed that all pipes to AMAL valve are off. I know we're they are suppose to go but for some reason it has been modified.

There is one pipe which is tee'd with a component I don't recognise which is connected to 12v supply of some sort. I can only then assume that the 2 pipes from wastegate and turbo have been connected together? The one pipe coming out of the tee seems to reach the wastegate but the other had been routed up towards the front of the airbox?

 

I know some people connect them to a bleed valve or an electronic boost controller
