Managed to get hold of a ex lightning rod 3dr Sierra .

As you can probably imagine it's a little bit tired .
Going to put a new front end on it and have it space framed instead of inner wings .

Fabrication and panels don't bother me but it got me thinking .

I'd rather not use a Sierra complete rear axle ,
Maybe something jap as I'm going to put a 2jz 6cyl in .

So........ What do you think would be a good OEM rear axle to put in
For a track based car NOT drifting
Toyota, Nissan, bmw , live axle 8" ???
