Default hub bolt

can't get it off! it won't move at all, it will not turn to the left and I'm smacking it with a hammer. any ideas?

which car, which side, front or rear,if a sapph coz which should the same as the escort coz and its the rear passenger side
its a left hand thread all others are right hand thread

If u want to take the whole hub off u need to disconnect bottom wishbone ball joint, track rod end & bottom strut bolt as well as removing the caliper. If u just want to remove the driveshaft, bottom wishbone ball joint & trackrod ent , tap the shaft end out with a rubber or copper mallet & lift the hub assembly out of the way. Hope that is what u need.
