Hiya guys, got myself a mk2 escort now, it's original never been modded, but I want to do some bits the 1.3 is a little under powdered aha.

Seen online that people fit the black top engines, I want to run it on carb/throttle bodies. What do I do about the management ?
Get rid of it and somehow fit an igntion system ?

I'm all new to fords classic minis and VW's normally.

Any help is appricated
