Hi all. Having a few problems with power on my s2 with cosworth management. Basically can't get no power, lights etc . Battery is brand new, ecu tested working . Now on the cosworth loom I've connected
Red / blue stripe to battery positive
Black to black on ignition switch
Black / red stripe to fuel pump
Not yet connected the green
Turn the key and nothing happens, no lights, horn, dash lights etc , completely dead. With a multimeter i Get 12.5v off the battery, starter, alternator, engine bay earths , but when connecting to the ignition switch its nothing, 0v .
Now the cable made to extend from the cosworth loom to black on the ignition switch is tested working. With this cable, I've simply connected in to the existing cable on the ignition switch rather than just cut and do away with the erst one , if this is right ???
Any ideas on what the problem is ???

I don't understand why you wouldn't get lights / dash or horn, they are not related to the engine management side of the car,
Did it work before you changed any wiring?
Have you removed any wiring from the ignition barrel switch instead of splicing onto it?

Thanks for the reply mate. I have since sorted the problem. It was the ignition switch that was dead , not sure how it effected the horn etc from working though ???. Only thing I'm having trouble with is getting the rear wiper to work
