I have a Ka which sometimes wont start, just turns over. I have found that the relay for the fuel pump isn't being triggered, so don't know where to go from here?
I've tested the relay and also tried starting with a spare key incase it was an immobilizer issue. Its a 2003 duratec engined ka and runs mint when it starts.

The ecu switches the relay with a switched earh. When you turn the ignition on it will run the pump to prime the rail. It will then run the pump when the ecu senses it's turning over with the signal from the crank. The ecu also monitors the pump is running.

Ok, well when I turn the ignition on the pump doesn't prime, the relay doesn't click, what would you be looking at now? Cheers for the advice chaps,
