Hi All,
Changed the cambelt, but I did touch the magnetic ring on the crankshaft pulley, does this matter as Haynes manual says do not touch?
I did also disconnect the fuel pipe to change the fuel filter.
Checked the timing numerous times and it is spot on, all timing holes line up for cambelt.
It did after a while run for periods of 15secs at a time but with no response to accelerator. tried to restart it in the morning but dead, occasionally it will fire.
My thought is air in the fuel system but am I chasing my tail, what is the best way to bleed it without spending mega £££'s on a £150 bleed kit?
All help suggestions welcome or even if someone is a mechanic and lives near to Ashford Kent I'm happy to pay for them to come and fix it.
Cheers
Andy
