Fuel rails on hart plenum
Been looking for a billet fuel rail for my hart plenum but I have been reading some nasty stories about them on the sites.
Firstly which one should I use if any? Or should I use my standard rail which doesn't seem to line up correctly with the injector ports ???
If I go for a billet one it seems like most tuners / experienced guys are saying it would be best to use one with the injector clips??
Is this any good??

The clips dont serve any real purpose anyway, probably just there to make it easier when putting it all together at the factory.
In no way do they actually secure the injectors into the rails once everything is fitted up
If you do opt for new rails, make sure any mounts are very secure.

I was going to say chat to Grieg at anembo but that's the link you have. I run one on my Swedish style, no leaks.

Aftermarket rails are normally badly manufactured and mounted and have a slightly different rail to plenum mounting distance.
With everything just slotted together they often appear to work, however, its very common once everything gets nice and warm that the fuel injector is pushed downwards towards the plenum by fuel pressure, sliding the injector into the plenum as far as it can go and exposing the upper O ring that seals the fuel rail.
Result = fuel firing everywhere at high pressure and a potential for a huge fire.
Seen it not a couple of times but TENS of times. Even had it happen on the dyno with a cossie we hadn't worked on that just wanted a power run... The potential for a deadly inferno is HUGE with some of these badly thought out fuel rails.

Yes they do Steve. They stop any downward movement caused by the fact the differential pressure across the injector means that the pressure is higher at the fuel injector end.

The rails MUST be totally secure with proper brackets as I already said.
Any problems with fuel pishing out etc, and I've seen it myself are always down to shite rail brackets.
