E38 brembo calipers! cosworth conversion help!

Default E38 brembo calipers! cosworth conversion help!

hi folks ive just bought some bmw E38 brembo calipers now the bloke said they are to suit 316mm discs but ive seen a load of people use the focus rs mk1 324mm discs is this true? its just the 316mm discs confusing me a bit. thanks everyone.

Sounds like a typical caprisport fuck up to me.

usually 324 focus rs discs. But they dont fit a 4x4 due to the offset.

ok the only way to tell is remove your caliper and disc bolt up the caliper and bracket measure from centre of hub to the outside edge of pad x 2 that will give you disc size.

I have had problems with caprisport and there crap disc conversions before.
Be aware some 17" wheels will not fit over calipers.

i bought the calipers 2nd hand mate not off caprisport i just needed to know if the mk1 focus rs 324mm disc would be ok also im still yet to buy brackets, cheers mate

I've got the brembo conversion on my 2wd sapph and I'm using mk1 focus rs discs. They work really well.
