when on the motorway or any length of road really where u can get speed up for a bit, if u have it in 5th or 4th sumtimes n accelorate it pulls then it will stop rev's will go to nuthin soon as u let off it dumps then u can go again ... i been told its my boot limit or summot u reach it then it cuts it.... well blew head gasket n had it replaced for an uprated 1 think it was the grp N 1. appatently the car has been set pu rite so im told but it is slower now n it does that boost thing a hell of a lot more.... but now when it does it u get a big bang from the zorst never did it last time. lol.

can any1 shed sum light on this for me, got cam, intercooler, full zorst n filter maybe chipped but im not sure.... sorry as i have said in other posts i dont know full spec of engine it was mcpikies. cheers all, Maroo.

 

if its not chipped the over boost will cut in at 10 psi and cause it to cut out, best bet is to take the ecu out and open it up then unscrew the board from the ecu box and see if its got a std chip, if it has then u will have reset ur boost to 10 psi max

a soft boost pipe can also cause these simptums the pipe from the meter unit to the turbo.
