Just incase anybody want to know the weight of there engine as I have ! I have just weighed my 2.0 SILVERTOP turbo only thing of the engine is the oil filter as it doesent come past my steering rack but engine still has oil in the sump external wastgate turbo intake manifold injection engine mounts fuel reg and still a few pipes attached and comes in at 144kg

 

Why are you doing this, have you broken it?

 

Neh the clutch release bearing started makeing a right screeching so thouht Id better get it done now that everything's running right . keeping in mind it takes the same time to get the engine out the westie as it dose to do the front wheel bearings or my landcruiser so no big deal just over an hour to whip it out . Was also considering a lightened flywheel while it's off
