hi everyone. i know its not an rs / xr / cossie etc etc but my mk6 transit 2.4 di 2.4 has 2 snapped glow plugs in the head! does anyone know of a company that can remove these in situ? i am located in beckenham in south east london / kent. any help would be very appreciated thank you.

 

Hi Luke did u manage to get your glow plugs out if not I would soak them in penetrating oil (wd40)but avoid one
Iike plus gas or even diesel oil then use an easy out . I live on beckenham best of luck

 

hi mate never sorted it. i soaked and soaked in wd40 and then tried an easy out but the easy out when snap!! so have left it! van still works just a tad difficult to start 1st time on a cold morning. shame but don't have time etc to sort it now.
