Default Help - Overboost then no boost

Easy,

I need to pick your technical brains a bit.
I run a ERS with the Bosch KE system. Its been chipped by MA Developments, had cam and head work, T3 360 Deg Turbo and all the other usual bits and should be running about 17psi.
The problem I'm having is this;
With the Amal valve connected i put my foot down and get loads of lag upto 1 bar, from there it flys round to about 1.5-1.7 bar. Change up to the next gear quickly and i have no boost (3psi), come off the throttle put my foot back down and its lag, lag, boost again! Its as though the wastegate is working in reverse, holding open (lag) then closing (big boost). If i unplug the amal valve it returns to factory settings eg. 7psi but it boosts up fine in every gear. I have tried another Amal valve with the same result.
Has anybody suffered this before or knows what it could be?I believe 007 was having the same trouble with a Fiesta RS. My next step is to try changing either the ATS (Air temp) in the x/over, the air bypass valve on the back of the head or the ECU.
I would really appriaciate any constructive comments as its doing my bloody head in now

i had similar problem, are you still using standardboost pipes? if you are its a good chance its the turbo feed which is suking flat under load, when u relise ya foot off pedal it goes back to shape, the when ya ease foot down it will just have lag

its a tuff one fella, your really pushin it at that boost, try turnin it down to 15psi and see if you've got the same problem, could be one of the ecu's calling it a day!

have you got a good intercooler on there. the ecu will cut power if charge temps get too high. the most you`ll squeeze out of a standard cooler is probably about 14 psi and thats pushin it.

Overboost in the chip program sound like its standard to me. 2 things will trigger it,too much pressure and/or too high an inlet temp.You should be able to run nigh on 1 bar on a standard chip and cooler,try that and see how it goes.
