Angry Camber Issue Continues.

Hey guys.

I have had a camber issue with my Taxi for a few years and finally got round to trying to sort it out over the last couple of days.

Firstly this problem came about a couple of years ago after fitting new shocks after my 6yr old Konis decided to collapse.

The N/S camber is -2.61 and the O/S is -2.11. O/S being correct according to the alignment print out.

This print out is before the shocks collapsed. All ok within tolerance's.

This is the latest since the new shock have been fitted.

So as I said I finally got round to trying to find the problem.

Started of with the car on the ground before my back gave me jip and got it on a 2 post lift.

Things that have been checked and changed.

Both TCAs (fitted with Powerflex polybushes)

Other front wheel hubs fitted.

Changed over side to side the new shocks (to check if a strut is as bent as Stephen and Kev)

Measured absolutely everything, turret distances, hub to shock, hub to disc etc.

Took the ARB off to check that it isn't bent and tried fitting 2wd ARB to see if it made any difference.

The cradle has never been removed and is sitting perfectly in the centre as it should be.

Was told that the turrets move with age and that can cause it but after measuring it all

Basically everything that we can think off was done and changed and it is still the same, so really stuck.

Pics of the wheel sitting in the arches.

N/S sits in as you can see.

O/S as it should be.

When I am next back on leave I am ordering new turret Powerflex Bushes and see if they make a difference even though the ones on the car are in good order.

Has anyone got any other suggestions as to what might be causing the problem as its really bugging me now

Can you not just fit adjustable lower arms and adjust it out? If it has new bushes arms ball joints top mounts and shocks it must be something bent

You'd think so that something is bent, totally agree, but after checking absolutely everything with Richie we are baffled. We have some adjustable TCA's ready on standby for when we have a look at this issue again when I am back on leave. Also will be ordering new poly turret top bushes.
