Default Very strange problem!!!

Just gone to lock the front door and my car fan is on??

Not driven it today and the fan is constantly on!!

Its pissing down and battery seems to be dead so i'm going to leave it till the morning hopefully it'll stop when battery finally dies.

If it's got a fan switch in the top hose it might be shorted out putting the fan on all the time.

Thats where I'd start, without knowing how the fan is wired in your car its difficult to say, some Escorts had a fan switch in the hose, some later ones were ECU controlled, you need to check which it is.

Ive dried the fuse box out over night although it wasn't wet just damp, refitted it and it wont start. Jumped the battery which is new and nothing. So put the battery on charge for the day. Immobiliser clicks in, dash lights come on but turn the key and nothing!

Do you have power to the starter motor?

I have a feeling its the fuse box so its off and apart and a lad I know said he'd have a look see if he can clean and repair it.

Battery is fully charged so once I get the box back i'll give it another go!
