I have a wheel speed sensor that I need to fit on my Fiesta to connect to my Dash2, I was thinking of mounting it on the rear wheel hub rather than the front. I can't see there being a problem but is there something I'm not thinking about??

The car was originally a 1.3 (speed sensor in the gearbox) & now its a 2.0 from an ST (sensor on the hub)

Car does not have ABS or anything fancy. Done plenty of searches but couldn't find an answer.
