Mtx-75 conversion into mk5zsT speedo help
Hi all I'm running a 2.0 Zetec turbo in my mk5 zs,
I've been using a fiesta diesel gearbox but it gave up on my and clutch was on way out anyway so was time to change to my mtx box off the engine I'm using.
It's out of a late mk1 early mk2(not 100% which one) mondeo so it's the silvertop ZETEC E engine,
I've sorted mostly everything to get the box fitted but I need to know how I'm going to get a speedo reading, I know that this box gives off an electrical reading so its do-able?
I've been told I will need a speed healer from someone who has done similar but use the focus mtx box which is slightly different.
Is there an easy way around it or does anyone know of a guide for the wiring ect,
If i cannot get the speedo working will it mess with the ecu regarding speed limiters if the mk5 does have a limiter fitted?
If it's not going to affect the running of the engine I will just go ahead and get it all fitted so I can get it remapped on full power then get the speedo problem sorted later.
Thanks for any help

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I've done this with my zetec turbo mk4 fiesta. I've got a speed corrector kit.....will find you the link. The correction factor is too far out......With no corrector the mtx75 and mk5 clock combo will read 150 mph at 50 mph road speed. The software in the corrector allows it to go down to show 75 when doing 50. I bought and made a microchip programmer and re loaded a modified hex file onto the microchip and it's now perfect.if you buy and build the kit.....test it, and then send me the chip ill reprogramme it for you and send it back

It was from a company called Jaycar in the USA. It's not listed on their website now......but was only about 6 months or so ago that I bought it. Was the only option I found after a lot of searching. Might be worth firing an email off. It was called speedo corrector and it came in kit form.
