My mechanic is still trying to get my car to start ( Ford Granada Scorpio 2.9 24v Automatic 1994 ) ( Cologne ) he desperately needs to find out where the immobiliser is fitted, can someone please advise me. Thank You.

No one is gonna broad cast that over the internet.Research it or get a Auto electrician to do it

I can understand your comment re internet. However, I have been trying to research this for days now and had an auto elec. try to find it. My Scorpio is quite unique, it being the last of its type off the production line so is not run of the mill. I had hoped that with the combined knowledge of all on this forum, someone would be willing to help a fellow subscriber. A telephone number of a knowledgeable person will help.

Thanks for your reply. The engine turns over but will not start, my mechanic has found a chaffed lead but wants to check the immobiliser unit also, he cannot find it in the engine compartment and does not want to remove the dashboard unnecessarily that is why I was hoping a member could confirm the position of the immobiliser unit.

tbh your mechanic cant be that good if he cant locate it as any decent auto electrician will find it in minutes
