Matching a engine to a vin
I've just got a 04 mondeo tdci ghia x.I'm trying to find out if had another engine .PART OF VIN Says 4g65505 engine logbook says 4g65505 sticker on timing covers says 47sq6007 logbook says variant fmba .how can I find out its number on the engine

used to stamped on to the side of the block. my 3dr's towards the rear of the right hand side of the block.
can't comment on exactly where a mondeo would be stamped tho
