Default 2.5 V6 Duratec

How much would it cost to replace the head gaskets on a 2.5 v6 Cougar and also skim the heads and how big of a job would it be labour wise?

I agree with Chris, For the price of a replacement engine and fitting its a lot easier doing that than rebuilding both heads and skimming them and the cost of 2 gasket kits etc, Should be able to get them cheap on Ebay or something mate.

Big and expensive job, rear bank is a nightmare, easier to drop the engine to do it. Agree with replacing the engine, probs work out cheaper. ST200 engines are cheap enough, so you get more power, and it's cheaper, win win

other engines worth a loom at are the 3.0 St220 and i think the jag x type engines that are also duratec ve based will fit. In sure the jag 3.0 is around 260bhp
