Hi I have a 1.4 zetec se engine in my focus but I've killed it lol... I want to replace it with a 1.6, what I want to know is will a silver top zetec s 1.6 just drop straight in?

 

if you fit a 1.6 zetec se you would just need the engine with ecu and keyfob(chip) as the engine loom and ancillaries are the same, if you use the silvertop you need engine with full engine loom which runs from under bonnet through bulkhead to ecu and gem module then down drivers side to fuelpump also ecu and key bit more of a ballache

 

sorry forgot to mention to fit the silvertop its as more involved as fitting a 1.8/ 2.0 as need the same parts pretty much
