Default Starting a garaged s1

Hello all,

Ive got a s1 thats been in my garage for coming up 3 years now, and i wanted to know what should I check before I try starting it?
It's not been started in all that time so obviously I'll need to charge the battery, but what else should i do/check before its started?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Ta

probably a good idea to change your oil as well and build up the pressure before you start it

Yep just whip off the coil lead plug and spin it over until the oil light goes out.

Chuck in some fresh petrol, put the coil lead back on and give it a try.

Check for any water leaks from perished rubber once upto pressure too
