hi, i am new to this site and i was wondering what would be the most straight forward engine conversion for my mk 6 fiesta (1600 16v petrol) zetec as i have majorly f****d the current engine... any way i thought i would maybe take the good from the bad and try to make something of the situation! lol, im not looking for stupid amounts of power just somthing 'nippy' (150-200 bhp) trying to avoid putting a heavy 2ltr lump in the front! any help would be appreciated thank you, brad.
if you have any idea on cost this would be appreciated also

 

unless you go down the 2ltr lump rote mate you not going to get any where near 150/200 mark out of a standard 1.6 16v unless you are made of money get your self a decent ST150
engine nice system and a decent cone filter happy days has for cost engine from £500.00
system from £250.00 filter depends what you go for £80.00 up wards

 

I don't think the 2 litre lump is that heavy to be honest.Its not made a huge impact on my mk4

 

thank you for the advise! appreciate it i really want a frst but insurance is ridiculous. ive got my eye on a mk 5 zetec s running 140 bhp been professionally tuned and is a real clean car. thanks guys!

 

Got a st170 engine minus the dm flywheel needs timing belt out back on and timed up as started to strip for a turbo build

£150 takes it got ecu, loom, manifolds
