I have a 2007 st with factory fitted sat nav which tbh looks fucking shit my question is can this be updated to have a more modern layout like Tom Tom for example I would like to keep the factory stereo because all my climate control etc is thru it but it's that shit I use my 8 year old tom tom instead of the factory sat nav which IMO is a shame

 

Hi,I found a site that does 2011/12 update discs for Denso sat nav & works 100% I have Mondeo 04 Ghia X its cost 40 euro about £31 you get two discs 1 firmware and 1 maps the firmware did`nt do anything of which I assume was ok the maps disc installed straight away and hey presto works a treat the disc is not some cheap copy rubbish of ebay I now live in a road and not a field you have to reset maps to the UK and that`s it everything else is the same,I`m one happy boy Link below ................
