s2 rs turbo

Unhappy s2 rs turbo
my 88 ford escort rs turbo is using way to much petrol only getting 3 miles to a litre. on start up there is lots of smoke and i can smell petrol in the exhaust. how can this be fixed.

It's running way too rich, there could be various reasons as to why this is.

You have MFI, I believe the metering heads can get jammed on these?

if its the metering head can it be repaired or has it to be replaced.
