right im in the middle of buying a mk4 escort combi van and would like to fit the rs turbo engine to it and ive finally found a wirring loom but im not to sure what im looking for and i dont want to be stuck with a loom of an xr3i or something simular is there any thing i should be looking out for ie extra coloured plugs etc

please help as im ment to be going to get it in the next few days

if its an rs loom it should have 2 extra connectors for the ignition and fuel ecu`s coming out from the fuse box area. hth

i have a full rst loom mate , everything included , fuse box , engine loom lighting loom , absoloutley every wire in the car , just lay it in the comby and plug into ya RST lump .

ive been offered a full loom from a h plate rs turbo for £40 but im more of an xr3i and orion ghia person ive no idea what the loom should look like

and the shortage of cash is holding me back a bit

it should look similar to yours mate , as they are both very close ,

If u do fet a loom u absoloutly MUST get everything , including the fuse box , will save u hours , weeks of head scratching
