I have a 1996 m6 escort with 1.4cvh engine and efi.
in my garage i have a mfi engine out of a xr3i (MK4)
would i be able to fit the 1600cc block and use the efi management? or would i have to rip it out and fit twin carbs?

 

mfi wont work with efi because mfi has got dizzy and efi has not .the efi runs off a trigger at the flywheel its bolted near the starter motor.

 

Or could i take the head off the the 1.6 and swap it over leaving the electronic distributer and efi on the car, just bigger head
