Default What cams 500hp yb?

This has probably been asked 1000's of times before but here goes, about to buy cams for my engine build, it's on 7:8:1 and a gt3076, any suggestions? I'm thinking bd16 inlet and bd14 exhaust? I'm after good response and a decent power band. Any 1 off cams like Danny@enhanced performance any good?
I have deep valve pockets and double valve springs.

Depends on the overall spec and use but standard cams can do it! Certain specs and tuners or engine builders will have their own way , the exhaust cam as standard is meant to be very good , the inlet seems to be swapped more often . Dare i say it AB07in has been tried and tested with better results.

I agree with Rod i've got one of Dannys inlet cams with a standard exhaust cam and my engine makes 590 bhp & 578 ft/lb of torque.

What difference is there between a bd16 and bd16+? I'm thinking of just changing inlet to bd16 and leaving exhaust standard. Aim is 500hp and hopefully some drivability. I'm using a nick waples touring car spec head.

Waples head, 16+ with 14/15 and it will be awesome. A standard exhaust cam will be a waste to that head IMHO (before a certain few kick off this is MY opinion )

Will pull like a train to 7700 lee and no drop over the top at 6800 in my experience

standard 8:1 comp ratio, head has been ported not shure on exact sizes though, manifolds ported aswell, just a 4x4 inlet with elbo mod and 10mmspacer plate. external waste gate though, this really opens up engine efficiency imo
