Mondeo MK1 2,0 ecu to the escort Mk5 1,8 loom ?
Hello. Is it possible to switch directly to the ECU 2.0 mondeo mk1 Escort Mk5 1.8 body harness instead? The engine has been replaced Mondeo 2.0 Silver top.
Is there any use of the ECU replacement engine power for?
What is the serial number, the type of the ECU were to happen in this situation?
Thank you, Jari.

The ecu's are deep, desk or dewy
I think you may have to change some of the pins on the ecu plug but couldnt tell you which ones there are some guides on here and other sites tho

Hello again. I installed the 2.0 ECU's (DEEP) straight into the connector> does not start. Own 1.8 by the ECU is okay, but at lower revs lazy? I'm a little difficult to find information on the forum here which plug wires should be changed? I have a Haynes's user manual for both cars. Can someone help? Thank you.

helo mate, I might be of some help here I don't know, but I have a escort gti with a 2.0 fitted using desk ecu and standard escort loom, you do have to swap pins on the ecu connector but cant remember which ones, I found the info from the internet somware tho, if your not too far you could always pop down mine and copy them
