Is this normal
I changed my air filter today and took the air box to turbo hose off, and noticed oil around the entrance of the turbo mouth.
Is this normal for a stage 2 on a saff cosworth or is it time for a new turbo

[quote="pugo"]depends on your breather system, if its still got the original one on it , then yes , if it hasn't then No it shouldn't be there[

Thanks for the reply
Yes it has still got the original breather set up, Ive always noticed oil reidue in the base of the filter box when I was running it standard, but was told this was the norm, but its the first time that I have noticed this at the turbo mouth sunce the stage 2 conversion,
it's still got the original turbo (82,000 miles) with regular oil change, but it still pulls well, and there's no play "front to back" in the shaft only the normal amount of side to side movement.
It just seems strange that the oil is not coating all of the turbo feed hose, but only the top "turbo end of it.
does this sound normal ??
