Ford FDS 2000
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have, or know where I can get the "source code" for an FDS 2000 machine...............
I can now edit over 120 PIDs in my V6 Cosworth BOB EECV binary files, and this is all working succesfully by using J3 Port Chip, but I want to move up a grade now, and flash my own .bin files into the EECVs own EEPROM..............
I have an FDS 2000 machine, so I want to alter its programming so it will reflash the ECU's without doing all the "Idiot Mechanic Proof" PATS / No Pats and Diagnostic checks etc etc before it will perform a Reflash............
I am wanting to create a simplified operating disc, with my own Calibration Files which simply gives me an option "Reflash ECU" click yes then "Choose Cal File" from a list of my own Cal Files on disc, then "Flash ECU".
Idea is so in reality I can use FDS to flash anything onto any ECU without it keep telling me it will not do it because I'm flashing the wrong ECU, or because I need to rectify an EGR fault, Auto Gearbox fault or other nonsense, as these items are no longer fitted to my car LOL
Cheers Dave

I'd like to think that's not the case, this is an old machine that has been superseeded by WDS and now IDS, so Ford and GenRad will hardly be that fussed about copyrights and the machine being messed with now, hopefully the info shouldn't be that hard to get
