Right first up is my spec, t34 turbo, 4x4 I/C, 803s, 3 bar map sensor, ahmed bayjoo stage 3 chip, group A headgasket. I had this problem when I was at stage 1 but it wasn't that noticable. When you boot her it missed a touch but kept pulling fine, but now I have gone to stage 3 and running around 20psi the problem is worse. I bought the plugs from harvey gibbs for stage 3 and even tried a mates plugs but the problem is still there. I have a new crank sensor and the gap is around 0.6mm, plugs are just under 0.7mm. I also put a new rotor arm in. Basically, when I boot it in 2nd and 3rd it is very bad but if I put my foot down just a touch where I get a reading of around 18psi it's not too bad. I hardly noticed this problem in 4th & 5th which I found odd. Also, on tickover it sounds quite lumpy with a bubbling/popping sound from the exhaust.

Any ideas?

 

what plugs you running? 071's??

have you had a pectel on it to check all sensor's??

 

Just solved problem and feel a bit silly about it

Changed dizzy cap and it's running sweet now

yeh any more probs and launch the plugs into the back garden
