Default ecu swap

got a ecu with a 195bhp chip in an a -31 actuator can i do a straight swap of the ecu in my car for the standard one running a stage 2 turbo, cam, uprated intercooler etc.....

ive got a mk3 escort cab, with a sr1 engine conversion, the ecu is from my other mrk3 sr1 cust the ecu's appear to be identical from the outside..
