Hi all, I have recently fit a tow bar to my mk2.5 focus titanium and whilst unplugging the fog light to take off the bumper I saw a wiring plug thing (dont know the correct wording) which isn't doing anything, I was wondering whether this is for wiring the trailer lights into? The only problem I can see is that there are only 6 wires going into it in oppose to obviously 7 for the trailer lights. I will try to get a photo of it soon. Cheerw!

 

Have you got parking sensors? If not it'll probably be a loom for them.

Ahhh! That makes perfect sense, cheers lads. Bit peived though because I though it was gunna be well easy to wire them in if that was what I though it was! So does this mean I have to wire in a buzzer still or could I just hack in to the wiring behind the rear light and that's it?

 

most cars nowadays will have a basic loom dependant on their spec, even if they don't fit the options
