hi guys i have a 2l zetec silvertop that i am building. it will have a free flow exhaust, jenvey throttle bodies, piper bp 270 cams. is there any parts from any other zetecs i could use to make the engine better. for instance black top crank if it fits maybe lighter or 1.8 silvertop conrods lighter. little help would be nice. thanks gregor

 

just buy steel bottom end parts matey, 1.8 parts won't do nothing, blacktop crank probably won't fit. you can get the whole bottom end standard parts lightened and balanced if thats what you are looking for but for more reliability buy steel parts and it will rev like mad and last! i would save the piper cams for now as 2.0 do last for up to around 200bhp, if you want more bhp from the engine then they will be good for then!
