could of been off a xr4x4 turbo technics conversion, u can get most garrett turbos to fit providing u have the right manifolds,
and are you planning to run this on your rs1800 at low pressure?

i have no idea what pressure to run it at. pipework not a problem can make all up myself fabricator buy trade. didnt no if the the turbo would be to big or not how much lag etc. thanks for your reply gonna ring some companies c if they can tell me what its off and give me a bit more speck 4 it. what sort of pressure could my engine handle before it goes bang
from a n/a engine to a turbo engine, you will have to take it to a tuner to be setup as the ingition curve is different, dont know much about the 1800 lump but i would say no more than 6psi.
Nowadays there are alot of companies who sell thicker headgaskets designed for your conversion to lower the compression of the engine to allow a bit more boost, speak to Van alken they are good at turbo conversions on zetecs etc
