Hello,
I have a K reg Orion Ghia, and recently my heated windscreen seems to have stopped working. When i press the button, it still illuminates to show its on, ive changed the relay in the fuse box, but it still doesnt work. Ive noticed when i press the button, i can hear a click noise coming from behind the dash on the passanger side!?! is there another relay i should be looking out for??

seems your heated wires in the screen are finished. the clicking sound is the relay for the heated screen.

 

Surely not all of the wires in the screen are dead? when i first had the car the screen worked fine, then one day it just stopped working. Anyone else got any ideas??

 

What about the connections to the screen are they clean

 

I think the contacts are on either side of the A pillars, perhaps stick a voltmeter across them and see what you get?
