I drive a Ford Mondeo ST155 [06 plate]
Around 5-6 weeks ago I noticed when I drove over a bad bit on the road that there was a loud "DUNC" coming from the front end area
I have since narrowed it down to the front O/s wheel area
When I am on the motorway or good roads [very hard to find these days]
all is nice and quiet no issue's
My car went in for a M.O.T yesterday and passed with flying colours
I did mention this noise to the tester and he gave it a good check with the help of another mechanic
After a short while probing the running gear etc. they could not find anything obvious
Admittedly they were very busy and could not take the car out for a road test so they have instructed me to bring car back if noise develops
The mobile plant fitter at my work has hinted it could be the shocky or even the coil spring but he has not had a chance to look at it as we are on different shifts
Any feedback would be most welcomed
