Default AE pistons - YB rebuild

I am currently rebuilding my YB and it has some AE 24063 pistons fitted at the min, I cant find any info on these pistons, does anyone know where to get some replacement rings for them, can I use a different brand, any reccomendations? are they cast or forged? what should the piston to bore clearance be, I have measured and I am getting 0.005" to 0.0055", this seems a little high if they are cast although there is no lip at all at the top of the bore which suggests little wear since the last rebuild which I believe was carried out aprox 16000 miles ago but back in 1999. I have also noticed some unusual wear where the gudgeon pin fits into the piston, is this normal?

I had AE in my last engine when I stripped it down. I was told they are cast. Mine were in very good condition even after 2 years of my driving with nigh on constant use of ALS and LC. It ran with greys and 36psi on my t34.63 and for however long they were in with the stage 3 set up before I bought it. Not overly useful info but thats all I can give you on my experience with them

Thanks for your reply, at least I know they actually made them for the YB turbo engine, Because I was unable to find them for this engine, I was starting to think they may have been for another engine and have been machined to accept the cosworth gudgeon pin which may have explained the unusual wear marks.
