Hey i have a 1.6 mk6 escort and next week i will be fitting some 17" rs 7 spokes. I am also planning on fitting a Gmax lowering kit, (springs And Dampers) But i want to maintain a reasonable ride with the big wheels, Any advice? Will that kit help?

 

Just abother thing wont the speedo be a mile out and is there any way to fix this?

 

speedo will be out but theres not much you can do about that unless someone else knows and i think between 25-30mm should be fine. Gmax do good kits but you cant adjust the dampening rate. If your not bothered about dampening rates go for a Gmax Kit otherwise go for a spax PSX kit or koni top ajustable kit.

 

You can get the speedo recalibrated, speedy cables ( i think ) should be able to help, sorry no address, but i think there London based.

 

Taa for the info, i just want my car to handle as well as it doesor better, i also dopnt want to feel every little bump, i live on a farm so blast up and down lanes alot. Thanks Tom
