hi all realy after some helpful advise my daughter has got a mondeo 03 2ltr tdci, problem is it starts ok first turn of key no smoke tick over ok problem is when you pull away it pulls upto 1500rpm hesitates up to 2000rpm then there is no power car will gradualy get up to speed cruise on motorway 100,110 no problem , ive cleaned all the crap out of egr valve and inlet manifold checked all hoses for leaks and nothing what do i check now

 

Is the EGR valve working properly? They do give a lot of problems on the diesels. Even if it has been cleaned it could still be faulty. I've blanked the EGR off on my tddi mondeo.

 

i can only assume it works as not realy sure how to check them i will blank it of on saturday see if that has any effect on it
